Julia Kent is a Canadian cellist and composer based in New York. The debut album Delay has been followed by several fantastic recordings where she mixes the organic with the technological, the human with the world around. Between 2005-2010 she played with Antony and the Johnsons who enjoyed huge international success and toured festivals and venues all over the world. Julia Kent stitches together the acoustic instrumental with electronic music through intricate layer-on-layer of loops, sounds and timbres.
